My name is Gina Jenero, and I am currently a sophomore at the University of Illinois. I was born and raised in Park Ridge, Illinois which is a Northwest Suburb of Chicago. I am majoring in English and Creative Writing and intend to go to Law School after I graduate undergrad. I have always had a passion for politics and law, but have recently decided to take my interests one step further.
I am running for Champaign County Board (District 8). The reality is that the University of Illinois takes up a large part of District 8. The students are active participants in the campus community and therefore deserve the right to have an impact on what laws are being made to govern them. I am determined to work hard to be the student voice on Champaign County Board.
